“But second half worked out a lot better for them. They equalised quickly, which gave them a confidence boost. All of a sudden they were pushing forward and became more of a threat. Unfortunately they eventually scored a second time and got the three points. I didn’t see Sterling’s strike coming at all at first, and so I reacted when it was too late,” Petr described.

The Gunners have now descended down to the fourth spot, losing 9 points on leading Chelsea. “The top of the table slipped out of our hands last week, but there’s a lot of games till the end. We need to win in the next round and embark on another winning streak. We’ll see if our opponents let us come a little closer,” added Petr.
