“It’s always tricky to prepare for the first game after a national team break. We only managed to organise a practice with everyone present on Friday,” revealed Petr.

“We were worried this would be an unpleasant game and this turned out to be very true. Swansea have generally been pretty successful at Emirates Stadium. In the end we could actually have won by a larger difference, but then again you need to keep in mind that we were forced to play with ten men for 25 minutes and had to fight tooth and nail till the very end. That’s why I’m so glad we made it."
