Petr sunk to play against Hull by back injury

Chelsea dropped two points after home 0-0 draw with Hull as PETR CECH was absent with a back injury sustained at Anfield Road.

The Chelsea keeper should be ready next weekend at Watford, missing the Czech National Team friendly match in Morocco on Wednesday.

The Blues slipped after another home draw to fourth in the Premier League, losing four points on Manchester United having played two games more.

Scolari's side wasted the chances in the first half as John Terry failed to set the early opener from close range and debutant Quaresma's shot was turned away by Hull goalkeeper Matt Duke on 19 minutes.

The Blues were denied what looked like clear-cut penalty when Andy Dawson handled the ball inside the penalty area on 69 minutes.

Tigers could have even made their first win at Stamford Bridge then but neither Fagan nor Ashbee succeeded against Hilário who stood in for Petr.
