Petr is Best Czech Footballer of 2008

PETR CECH has been named top Czech footballer for the year 2008. The Czech national number one was awarded this title for the second time in his life.

"The people who had voted for me had probably evaluated the whole last season and not only the match against Turkey which was a great disapionting to me," said the Czech keeper on the press conference after the ceremony.

1. Petr Cech (Chelsea) 508 points, 2. Pavel Nedved (Juventus) 451, 3. Tomas Ujfalusi (Atletico Madrid) 379, 4. Milan Jankulovski (AC Milan) 288, 5. Radek Sirl (St Petersburg) 212.
