Interview: On the eve of new season

About the pre-season period

"It has been a good pre-season, we have been going to the States for four years and knew exactly what it was going to be all about, and now we need to prove it on the pitch. I feel well, I have been working hard, so let"s see what happens on Sunday."

About his mission

"I think you have got only the credit when you keep clean sheets and play well, it is all you need to do. You have got one or two saves during the whole game - if you save you are successful, if you don"t you are in trouble, so that"s the goalkeeper"s life in big clubs. My aim is to fulfil club"s wishes, the Champions League or the Premier League title again."

About community shield

"It is a first competitive game so you never know. You can play well the whole of a pre-season but it doesn"t mean that you are going to start well in the competition. Anyway there will be a great atmosphere, sold out. We played at Wembley in the FA Cup, and I"m looking forward to the game again, 90,000 people, it"s great. Chelsea and Manchester United, you can"t ask for more."
