Hiddink to give a boost to Petr

"My thoughts about Cech are very positive. Since I have been here he has done very good goalkeeping work," claimed Hiddink during the press conference before the Saturday FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal at Wembley.

"It is obvious when a goalie makes a mistake that there is always direct consequence of this. The goalie has every now and then a right to make an error as well," added the Dutch coach of Chelsea.

"Cech is an intelligent man and an intelligent player. I have not said to him we are going to talk about it for three hours. It has been just normal analysis. Now I see he is relaxed, enjoying the training and he is working as he did before."

Hiddink also rubbished a newspaper story that he wanted to take Tottenham keeper Heurelho Gomes at Stamford Bridge. "Not a grain of truth," concluded the Chelsea manager.
