Big Pete's 100th clean sheet for Chelsea

The 5-0 win in the home game against Sunderland was PETR CECH's 100th clean sheet for Chelsea. Big Pete has achieved this success in 180 games since 2004 when he came to Stamford Bridge.

"I am very pleased with achieving the point. In addition, I am glad to reach it mostly in the Premier League and in the Champions League, the best world's football competitions," said Petr after the game at Stamford Bridge.

Current number one of Chelsea has the second highest total of shut-outs in the history of the club. The leader of the rank is Peter Bonetti with 208 clean sheets in 729 games.

'When I arrived, everyone was talking about him. I soon realised he is an absolute legend at this club and if you see the number of games Peter played and the number of clean sheets, it's amazing," said Petr in a Chelsea TV interview.

Petr's substitute Carlo Cudicini recorded 95 shut-outs and stays in the third position.
