Amazing night at Anfield

The Blues have opened the quarter-finals of the Champions League with 3-1 victory at Liverpool as Branislav Ivanovic scored twice with Didier Drogba adding the third.

PETR CECH conceded only in the 6th minute when Torres' volley finished home.

The hero of the game Ivanovic started his show on 39 minutes when headed in Lampard's corner kick.

In the end of the first half Petr saved well against Dirk Kuyt which prooved to be crucial for the progress of the match.

Probably the best display of Chelsea in this season burst after the break.

On 62 minutes Lampard's another corner pass found again the had of Ivanovic who got the ball past Reina.

Finally Didier Drogba who had wasted three good chances in the first 50 minutes clipped home after Malouda's brilliant pass in the 67th minute.

The second leg is set on April, 14 at Stamford Bridge and Liverpool will have to strike three goals at least to eliminate Chelsea from the Champions League.
