Hi petr I'm a huge chelsea fan and a massive fan of yours. I was lucky enough to get some good pictures of you at the chelsea V birmingham game. I am a goalkeeper just like you and because of my perfomances my team mates are calling me "petr cech" after you but i will never be as good as you. I hope one day i will be honoured enough to meet you. Good luck for the season
Hi Sam, thank you for the message. Maybe one day we’ll meet each other on the pitch, what do you think? Good luck.

Hello Petr, first let me say that you are the reason I support Chelsea ever since seeing your performance in Euro 2004 I was amazed. I read somewhere that you have done a course in psychology, I was wondering if this sometimes helps you in your sport and that when you retire would you consider following a path studying psychology further?
Hi Rachel, I think that the little knowledge of psychology helps, because in football there is a lot of pressure and stress and you have to cope with that. I’ll see after my career, if I have a chance to study more. It would be very interesting. Take care.

Hi, Petr! I want to ask you something. When you will take off your helm? Is your head still injuried?
Hi Sarah, I was adviced from the Chelsea’s medical department to keep wearing the helmet for another year and than we’ll see. Take care.

Hi Mr. Cech! As a fan of yours from Korea and as a goalkeeper of a local soccer team, I was wondering what you are thinking when the opponent team scores against you. Personally I feel numb, basically nothing, do you get this same feeling? I would want to be one of the best gk in the world like you and have chances to know more about being goalkeeper as a professional. P.S I have this Lotto G-force glove that has got your name and Czech Republic's flag on it, I feel really proud of myself :)
Hi Peter, it is always horrible to conceed goals. I personally hate it. But it is a part of the game and you have to play at the highest level whatever happens. It is difficult when you make the mistake and you conceed a goal, but if you still think about it during the game, you risk to conceed another one... Time to think about it is after the game. During the game imagine the score is always 0:0! Even if it is 2:0 for you or 3:0 for your opponent in your mind is still 0:0. It helps to keep concentration for your performance. Good luck Petr.
