My name is Matthew Khoo. Im 12 years old and i big fan of you. I hope i can be like you when i grow up. My question is "Whats your secret of becoming such a sucessful goalkeeper?". im a goalkeeper myself. My teacher says i have potential but how do i get recognised by football clubs?

Hi Matthew, there is only one advise: love goalkeeping, work hard, concentrate on your game, enjoy your game and keep your dream alive. The quality is always recognized, don’t worry.

hi petr im from dubai and im a goalkeeper aswell and its very important for goalkeepers to have a big amount of motivation and confidence. Now I think your the best keepa in the world how do you keep ur motivation for example after losing a game or keep your confidence up...Thanks lookin foward for the reply ;) by the way ask carlo cudicini about me he might remember when he came to dubai on holiday he came to my house if you could please tell him I said hi thank you... :)

Hi Mohammed, i’ll pass the message to Carlo. I think the motivation should come from yourself, but the confidence you have to gain – working well in the trainig, concentrate 100 % on your job and if you make mistake, you have to make sure it does not happen again by being positive and working even harder. Mistakes are the part of the game and if you had made everything 100% you’ll not lose confidence because of one mistake. Good luck :)

Hi Angela, I love goalkeeping because it is like an individual sport included to the colectiv one. As a goalkeeper you are alone at times, because of the specific position having a special responsibility and importance to the team - i like it... And you have 10 other team-mates in your team, which is a lot of fun in the dressing room... i love this combination. Take care.
