Hi Petr, I'm Davide from Italy. I live in Milan, and i see all your games with Chelsea and CZECH REPUBBLIC. I'm goal keeper as you and i believe in this moment you are the strongest in the world... The best. I support Chelsea in England, but because i live in Italy i support F.C INTER. One Day i would like to see you to play to F.C Inter and even if i'm italian, i believe you are stronger than Buffon. Have many nice days in your future with your family, in Chelsea and in your life. Davide
Ciao Davide, in football everything is possible and maybe one day you’ll see me in your club’s shirt. Good luck and many clean sheets. Forza Chelsea!

Dear Petr! I'm Patrick from Switzerland and also a goalkeeper. You're my idol. I watch every Chelsea game. But i missed you on the pitch the past games. How is your recovery going? Hope you will be able to play soon. I'm impressed of the way you play. So constantly and during the game you stay cool in every situation. Do you have any advise for me? How do you get on with the pressure? Stay save and have much succeed. Patrick.
Hi Patrick, my advise is simple: the only thing in football you can manage is your own performance. So don’t think about anything else but your performance. It will help you not to think about the importance of the game too much and will help you to deal better with the pressure, because the role of the goalkeeper is the same in the game Grasshoppers – FC Thun as well as in Chelsea – Man United. You see, goalkeeper’s job is the same in every level, so think about your performance and good luck.

Hello Cech. I'm Ian, from Brazil, south america. I'm a goalie too, and then i take you as my example. I recently discovered your site, and I'm really pleased to talk to you. I read that in 2004, you signed a 5 year contract with Chelsea, and we are already in 2008. So, I wanted to ask you if you pretend to continue playing there. But I want you to know that wherever you play, I'll be always watching your games and just appreciating your great saves.
Hi Ian, I hope to stay at Chelsea for a long time, so you should still see me with the Blues. Take care.

I am doing a sports science degree and as part of this I have to put together a psychology injury rehabilitation programme in which I have chosen you as an avid Chelsea fan. It could not have been easy to return to play so soon after your injury. I wanted to know how you made such a quick recovery psychologically and how you cope with not being able to remember the incident. What did your sports psychologist recommend to you? Thanks any information you could give me would be much appreciated
I start with the memory issue... some people don’t remember things which are very important in their lifes because of an accident and than they have a problem coping with that. Me contrery, I don’t remember the incident, which is not really good to remember and have almost no importance of remembering it, so it made it much easier for me. The second advantage is that you can’t be affraid of something you don’t remember. If you had a car crash, you’d be affraid getting into the car again, but if you didn’t remember the crash, you’d drive again. So when I played my first game after my recovery I had no problem diving into players feet again. Good luck with your degree.

Hello, Petr. I'm vova. I live in Russia in Sankt-Petersburg. I love CHELSEA!!!! And I specially love you and Franck Lampard (like football players, of course:-))))). I'm 14 years old and I love to play football. Every day after school I and my friends plays football, and I always remember you and Franck, because my best friend is a good goalkeeper and I'm right center halfback. And I want to know, are you and Franck friends??? If yes, so good luck for you and him. You are amazing!!!! My friend want to be like you, and I want to be, like Franck!!! If you be in the final of Champions League in Moskow, I will absolutely, for 100% come "and see you play"))) with pleasure Vova. P.S. Excuse me for my English...
Hi Vova, I hope you got the tickets, because it will be a great final. Good luck to you and your friend.

Hi, I am a goalie for my team, Our Lady of Sorrows. I live in St. Louis Missouri. I am in the seventh grade. My grandpa told me about you, and that you are one of the best goalies in the world. I have hemophelia which is a bleeding disorder. How is it like wearing a helmet and extra padding? Is it harder or just about the same? Thank-you for reading this. From: Austin
Hi Austin, wearing a helmet was different for me at the beginning, but now I got used to wear it and it seems to be like something ordinary for me. Take care and good luck.
